Digital And Print Production Designer
We are looking for a talented Interactive Designer. You are a designer first, but love all things digital. You are passionate about typography and have an impeccable eye for detail. You will be responsible for designing compelling websites, mobile interfaces, microsites, email templates, display advertising and other interactive deliverables.

Job Requirements:
  • 5-plus years of digital design experience
  • 4-year minimum college degree in graphic/visual arts
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Fireworks, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash and IllustratorProficient in HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, Flash and/or Ajax and a growing understanding of HTML 5 and CSS 3
  • Experience with information architecture, SEO and metrics, application design and multimedia projects a plusLive for current web design trends and techniques
  • Work well with teams “both internally and externally” to communicate design concepts and ideas through diagrams, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
  • Work well independently
  • Be able to meet aggressive deadlines for multiple projects
  • Deliver work in a timely manner, in keeping with budget and technology constraints
  • Understand and work within project parameters: client goals and requirements, internal goals, usability, technical constraints, as well as budget and schedule
  • Expertly craft documentation to represent the user experience, including: product requirements documents, functional specifications, flow diagrams, schematics, and prototypes

    Design Interns
    We offer four week unpaid internships to students and recently graduated students who have are enrolled or finished a college/university-level design stream. Applicants are expected to be comfortable with Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop. Illustration, photography, motion and web skills are always appreciated but not necessary. Typically interns will assist designers with projects and fullfill additional responsibilities around the office. The right candidate will be resourceful, have a great attitude and passion for a design.

    International applicants are responsible for arranging their own visa applications and accommodations.

    Marketing Intern
    Concrete is looking for a Marketing/Advertising Intern to work in their Downtown Toronto studio. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a passion for branding, marketing and design. Concrete is offering students and recent graduates the opportunity to learn and develop skills in a boutique studio environment.

    As an intern at Concrete you will have the opportunity to gain practical hands-on experience developing, pitch proposals and creative concepts, in addition to helping us produce a wide variety of creative projects in web, motion, print and experiential. Through networking and job shadowing the candidate can expand on their employable skills, develop new techniques and learn valuable skills to succeed in a marketing environment.  In this position you would be reporting to the Account Management team.
