Acaderma – Plant Extract Research Transformed Into A New Skincare Brand

Dr. Shuting Hu is an award winning, biological research scientist. Her work at the University of Hong Kong focussed on the beneficial effects of natural ingredients on the skin. In May 2018, Dr. Hu approached Concrete at a brand workshop in San Francisco to discuss her ideas about developing a skincare line based on her research. The products employed unique plant extracts sourced from around the globe. For the new line, Concrete developed the brand identity, brand story and a distinctive packaging system to launch the first five serums. The project continues as Concrete develops website design and brand imagery which will continue to roll our later in 2019.
