Concrete Collaborates with Sam Island on Keilhauer’s 2017 Neocon Showroom
Neocon is one of the most renowned interior design shows in North America. The three-day event attracts upwards of 50,000 design industry professionals every year.
As a returning vendor at Neocon, Keilhauer asked Concrete to create illustrated environmental graphics designed for their showroom, to highlight Keilhauer products while telling the story of their current campaign, “Heads Up.”
The furniture manufacturing company was founded in 1981 by the three Keilhauer brothers; Ron Keilhauer, Rick Keilhauer and Mike Keilhauer. They had been around furniture all their lives as their father, Ed Keilhauer, was an upholster, saddle-maker and a pioneer in the design and development of contract seating in North America. With the support of their father, the brothers sought out to make Keilhauer the standard in high-quality commercial seating. Over the past 36 years, Keilhauer has developed over 100 product collections and worked with dozens of independent product designers. Keilhauer products are now sold around the world.
Concrete collaborated with talented Toronto-based Illustrator Sam Island to bring full-scale illustrations to life for Keilhauer and their 2017 Neocon Showcase.
